Na Dache: ivy-covered cottage Here is the dacha proper. It was initially built by Lena's grandfather, Vanya, and has been continually improved upon by the family. There is no running water-- in fact, the first time I was there, we had to fetch water by the bucket from a spigot about a hundred yards down the street-- but there is electricity. It is most tranquil. |
