Na Dache: shashlik!
The Russian version of steaks on the grill is shashlik (shahsh-LEEK).
It's the same principle as shish kebab (probably where the name derived from),
but the meat is marinated for a while, and tastes differently than any kind
of meat I've had here. And it's sooo good...
They're cooking the shashlik on the former site of their hothouse, where
they used to grow tomatoes. The entire thing was destroyed by a strong
storm this spring.
