Tallinn, capital of Estonia This is not one of our pictures, but when I saw it, I thought it would make a good opener. Tallinn is a medieval capital of trade, and has been occupied by just about every major power to hit northern Europe in its long and illustrious history. It's a great town. This is the medieval old town. It looks a lot smaller than it really is in this picture-- you can lose yourself for quite some time if you want. |
